MOROCCO FUN ADVERTUSE

2 DAY SAHARA DESERT TRIP FROM MARRAKECH

The most popular tour we provide is the 2-day desert tour from Marrakech to Zagora because it’s ideal for visitors with limited time who want to spend some time sleeping in tents and riding camels. Zagora is a rocky type of desert; unlike Erg Chebbi, it doesn’t have large sand dunes. Nevertheless, this 2-day desert tour from Marrakech will give you the chance to have an unforgettable experience by traveling through the high Atlas Mountains, taking in the breathtaking views of the Draa valley, visiting Ait Benhaddou, riding camels, and spending the night in a camp or under the stars.

Day 1 Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Zagora

Dunes
Our professional drivers will pick you up from your lodging at 7:00 AM in an air-conditioned 4WD vehicle or minibus for your 2-day desert excursion from Marrakech to Zagora. We will first traverse the high Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, which offers a breathtaking view of the foothills of the green mountains. Once we reach Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we will see why so many well-known Hollywood productions were filmed there. Those who enjoy the beauty of nature should come see the breathtaking view from the top hill. Next, we’ll make a stop at Ouarzazate, also known as Africa Hollywood, to see Kasbah Taourirt and have lunch. After that, we’ll travel 180 km through the Draa Valley oases. At last, during the afternoon, we will be in Zagora where we will ride camels to reach our nomadic desert camp.
Before sleeping in tents, we will enjoy a hot meal and some local music

Day 2: Ouarzazate – Marrakech – Zagora Dunes

You will be woken up before sunrise on the second day of your two-day Zagora desert tour to take in the first amazing glimpses of light rays that herald the start of a new day and new experience.
