9 DAYS MOROCCO IMPERIAL CITIES TOUR FROM MARRAKECH

Fes, Rabat, and Meknes are the three imperial cities in Morocco that are covered on this tour. Every city has a unique charm and tale to tell, drawing tourists from all over the world to discover its breathtaking sights. Regarding the Sahara Desert, there are a plethora of activities that await you, including hiking, camel trekking, jamming with nomads, camping in Berber tents for the night, and much more. This is your chance to discover more about a fascinating culture.

Day 1: Marrakech Airport

Our driver will meet you at the airport upon your arrival and take you to the hotel, where you will spend your first night and have dinner.

Day 2: Casablanca – Marrakech

Following breakfast, we’ll travel to Casablanca, Morocco’s largest and oldest city and the country’s economic hub. You will get the chance to see the Palace of
Mohammed V, the UN Plaza, and the well-known League of Arab States
renowned for its distinctive variety of palm trees. Upon exploring the historic streets, you’ll proceed to
to a hotel for supper and the night.

Day 3: Meknes, Fez, Rabat, and Casablanca

We will travel to Rabat, the capital and home of Morocco, on the third day. You’ll take in the allure of this seaside city and savor a delectable Moroccan lunch while there. After that, we’ll head to Meknes. It’s interesting to note that “Moulay Ismail,” a 16th-century ruler, considered this city to be his capital. He constructed his magnificent palace, which features magnificent mosaics, enormous, exquisitely detailed bronze doors, and the most elaborate, colorful stucco work. Following that, you will travel to Volubilis, the westernmost outpost of the Roman Empire, before arriving in Fez for dinner and a night in a hotel.

Day 4: Tour of Fez with a Guide

The first university in Morocco is located in Fez, and this day trip takes you to some of the city’s top attractions. An imperial city tour would not be complete without visiting its historic medina, which has a wealth of sights and activities to offer. You’ll adore the busy streets inside it, filled with raucous hawkers peddling everything from colorful vegetables to mouthwatering Middle Eastern pastries flavored with cinnamon and honey to the skilled craftspeople who turn sheets of metal into works of art.

Day 5: Merzouga Dunes, Eroud, Midelt, and Fez

We will travel to Merzouga, The Dunes of Erg Chebbi, via the magnificent Ziz Valley and Errachidia, and pause for lunch in Midelt after eating breakfast in Fez. After a brief dip in the hotel pool upon our arrival, you will ride camels for two hours in Erg Chebbi at dusk to arrive at our nomadic camp. You’ll enjoy a fun-filled evening with the locals in the middle of the SAHARA desert, including a delicious dinner around a campfire, before retiring to your own tents.

Day 6: Dades Gorges – Tinghir – Toudra Gorges – Merzouga Dunes.

You’ll rise early in Merzouga Dunes to witness the breathtaking Sahara sunrise, then ride your camel back to the hotel for a quick shower and breakfast. After that, we’ll go on to Dades Gorge, where the main activity is rock climbing. Following your hike along the magnificent gorge, you’ll enjoy dinner and a restful night’s sleep at a four-star hotel.

Day 7: Ouarzazate, Skoura Palm, Dades Gorges, and Valley of Roses

travel to Ouarzazate via the lovely rose valley, where the festival is held annually. After lunch, you will travel to the “Africa’s Hollywood” Studios in Ouarzazate, where a number of well-known films, including Gladiator and Kingdom of Heaven, were filmed. You will afterwards visit Taourirt Kasbah, one of Morocco’s oldest and most spectacular Kasbahs. Dinner and a hotel room for the night.

Marrakech – Avenue 8 Ouarzazate

After eating breakfast and touring the well-known movie studios in Ouarzazate, we’ll travel to the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has long been a favorite of Hollywood producers and the location of the films Alexander and Son of God.
After lunch by the Kasbah, we’ll travel into the High Atlas Mountains and stop for a warm cup of mint tea with the locals. We should arrive in Marrakech at five o’clock in the evening. Dinner and a hotel stay are included.

Day 9 Marrakech Airport

This Day marks the end of your tour of Morocco Imperial Cities from Marrakech. Our driver
will transport you to the airport hoping that we gave you happy memories and looking
