5 days Fez to sahara desert and marrakech Tour

Day 1: Fes – Cedar forests and monkey troupes of Azrou – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, depart southeast through the Middle and Higher Atlas Mountains. Stop at the cedar forest to spot Barbarian apes. Continue via Midelt and the Ziz Valley to Merzouga, passing the Tafilalet date palm grove. Arrive at Merzouga and enjoy a welcome glass of mint tea before checking in at your riad.

Day 2: Merzouga area – Rissani Market – Erg Chebbi – Camel trek and overnight in Berber tent
Explore Merzouga and visit the Gnawa people, the lake, and Rissani souk. In the afternoon, enjoy a camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes, followed by an overnight in a desert camp with western bathrooms and dinner under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert – Todra Gorges – Palm Groves of Tinghir – Dades Gorges
Wake early for sunrise on the dunes, then return to Merzouga. After breakfast, drive to Todra Gorges and Tinghir palm groves. Continue through Dades Valley, admiring rock formations and “monkey toes,” then overnight at a hotel overlooking the valley.

Day 4: Dades Valley – Kasbah Amridil – Palm Groves of Skoura – Ouarzazate
Drive through the Dades Valley, stopping for photos and visiting Kalaat Mgouna, the “Rose City.” Continue to Ouarzazate via Kasbah Amridil, then overnight in Ouarzazate.

Day 5: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Tizi n’Tichka Pass – Marrakech
Visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, famous from films like Gladiator and The Mummy. Cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, stopping for panoramic photos of Berber villages, then arrive in Marrakech for check-in at your riad in the Medina.
