4 DAY TOUR FROM MARRAKECH TO FES #

This adventure-filled desert tour from Marrakech to Fes is highly recommended by us, as it includes numerous drives through the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass. You will have the opportunity to see the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, travel to Ouarzazate, Morocco’s Hollywood, visit Zagora, take in the breathtaking views of the Dades Valley and Todra Gorges, stop in Erfoud for a break and see the Merzouga dunes, and more. Additionally, you will stay in two-night Berber camps in two well-known cities, Zagora and Merzouga, which attract both young and elderly tourists.

Day 1: Zagora – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
We will leave Marrakech at 8:00 am on the first day of our Marrakech to Fes, Morocco Desert Trip, and drive straight across the high Atlas Mountains to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah.
After touring Ait Benhaddou, we’ll head to Ouarzazate, dubbed “African Hollywood,” for a lunch break at a neighborhood eatery. The largest palm plantation in the nation is located in the Draa Valley, which we will pass through on our way to Zagora. There, we will embark on a desert camel trek before dinner and an overnight stay in a Berber camp.

Day 2 Zagora – Dades Gorge – Dades Valley
On the second day, after having breakfast in Zagora desert camp we will return back by
camel trek to meet the driver. Then, we will drive back to Ouarzazate which is the Gateway
to the real Desert and continue our way to the valley of roses and Dades valley till we reach
the middle of the valley by the river through where you will have dinner and spend your
second night in hotel.

Day 3: Merzouga Dunes, Dades Valley, Todra Gorge, and Erfoud
We will travel to Todra from Dades Valley after breakfast in order to explore its gorges and take in the breathtaking views of the enormous cliffs and canyons. After that, we’ll stop for lunch, which is not included in the cost, before moving on to Rissani, the largest date market in the nation. We will then travel directly to Merzouga to go camel riding, have dinner in the camp, sing along with the locals around the campfire, and spend the night in tents amidst the dunes of Merzouga.

Day 4: Merzouga Dunes – Ifrane – Fes – Erfoud – Midelt – Azrou
Early in the morning, we will wake up to enjoy the breathtaking view of the Sahara sunrise before riding camels to the hotel. After breakfast in the hotel, we’ll head straight to Fes. We will travel through the high Atlas Mountains to Azrou and Ifrane, dubbed “the Switzerland of Morocco,” after stopping for lunch along the way. After that, we’ll make a stop to explore the well-known cedar forest—the biggest in Morocco—where we might spot some Barbarian apes.
Our driver will drop you off at your hotel in Fez, ending your shared desert trip from Marrakech to Fez.
